Common foods served at a traditional Italian wedding are antipasti (appetizers), primo piatto (pasta), secondo piatto (meat), and dessert. Popular antipasto items include shrimp cocktail and meat with cheese trays. Traditional pasta entrees have a lighter sauce, like linguini in garlic and olive oil.
